" In the 1950's, the Sears Roebuck and Co. catalogue was the means of shopping and viewing the western trends for remote Alaskan villages. Trends that were widely irrelevant but yet still imposing, as western civilization encroached on traditional ways of life. I am fascinated by these old wallpaper samples. Beautiful, aspirational and antiquated. "
