We are pleased to present a collection of innovative works of art by esteemed Northwest Coast First Nations artists. While these creations are rooted in traditional design, each artist has added his or her own contemporary stylistic identity. Some works have been inspired by art from other cultures, such as Joe David's Maori Chief's Mask and George Hunt, Jr.'s Son of the Creator mask which was inspired by Inuit artist David Ruben Piqtoukun's work. Other pieces are exquisite examples of the workmanship of artists from an earlier time. We hope you enjoy these art works.
