Linus Woods: Polar Bear Pants and Other New Work

March 1 - 23

Linus Woods continues to delight us with his wonderful animal paintings, ranging from rabbits through deer to polar bears. Many of them have amusing stories written on the back of the canvas, such as his painting Polar Bear Pants (Arctic Clothes. Must have polar bear pants. Never break down... If I can smell frybread 2 houses down, bet a polar bear can smell it right across the rez) or Rabbit at Moose Mountain (Rabbit at moose mountain but only rabbits live there). These stories are not just cute bonuses to the work, they help to pass along the First Nation view of the world and life experience as Linus sees it.

All works are available immediately.
