Quvianaqtuk Pudlat: New Drawings

April 15 - May 6
Having worked many years as a carver, Quvianaqtuk Pudlat has a keen eye for the physicality of arctic animals, their movement and their behaviours. More recently Quvianaqtuk began working in the Kinngait (Cape Dorset) graphic studio, where he translates this understanding into robust images of bear, foxes, caribou and other animals native to the area. In his imagery the animals take centre stage, occupying the full ground of the paper without extraneous background information. His print work in recent years has captivated collectors and we are pleased to offer this collection of  original drawings by this talented artist.
