The Inuit Gallery is pleased to present a collection of vintage art works by Inuit artists from communities across the Arctic. The Inuit started carving stone sculpture for the southern market in the 1950s, with the burgeoning of such creation starting in the 1960s. Our collection has a range of works including Inuit involved in traditional activities, dolls, and animal figures all ranging between the late 1950s up to the 1990s.
