In Vintage Inuit, the Inuit Gallery is pleased to present a collection of works by Inuit artists that, for the most part, belong to the first generation of sculptors who began to carve in the 1950's but really blossomed from about 1960. In that vein, Vintage Inuit includes many early works, some from the 1950's, up to one of the most recent examples, the massive Bear with Fish by Kananginak Pootoogook which dates from the 1980's.  Continued here.
