Kuzy recalls hunting by the floe edge while it was snowing and he spotted a walrus in the snow that had turned from brown to white as it got covered with snow.
The walrus is a big animal that feeds many many people. Kuzy’s grandfather was a generous provider in the community and would often hunt walrus.
