The tender, feather-like floating of soft snowflakes in the silence of a winter's day. One can breathe better, think more clearly, hold oneself still and solid in the first snowfall of the year. Magical essence sparkles in the air, the Raven counts the flakes, one by one, two by two. The first snowfall starts a new season of quietness, reflection, growth and purity. Winter's deep sleep is time to reassess, turn over thoughts, count snowflakes and warm yourself by the fire. Appreciate all that is you.
