“Hang in There” Spoon

That is what my little frog is doing, hanging in there. That pesky little mosquito is being a nuisance, annoying him by buzzing and he is afraid to let go. Carving out my spoon, I thought about what I could paint on it. It being small I thought of a frog, then once I created a design I didn’t want to just insert ribs into its body. I thought of a mosquito. I painted the main part of the body on the underside of the spoon with his feet inside the bowl. I added two pieces of abalone shell to the handle.
