Inspired by a beloved family member, this piece is a dedication to a special woman. The raven design came to me through her energy, as the raven was her family crest. She loved the ocean and went canoeing on the water so this design being on my first paddle just made sense. What an honour it was to create this work, with the presence of Tanalus.
