When I think of spoons and their uses, I also think of the intention behind serving someone at a feast. When serving, you must do it from a place of love. My interpretation of Eagle is about love. We must always serve each living creature in the same manner. The construction of the spoon developed as I worked on it. I didn't see the split wing until I was about to finalize the carving process. I also wanted it to be super light, representing the care it takes to handle love. The abstract formline on the bottom is something I just wanted to add as a gem.
