Krystle Silverfox is a Northern Tutchone (Selkirk First Nation) visual artist residing in New Westminster, BC. She holds a BFA in visual arts (2016) and a BA in gender, race, sexuality, and social justice (2013), both from UBC. She also obtained an MFA in Interdisciplinary Studies (2019) from SFU. Silverfox's artistic practice encompasses various materials, methodologies, and symbols to create conceptual works. As an artist, she is deeply passionate about Indigenous feminism, decolonialism, and social justice. She views her artistic practice as a form of personal activism and expression. Silverfox works with painting, photography, sculpture, installation, and new media, constantly exploring different avenues to communicate and share her experiences and stories.
